Massage - an Introduction

Are you interested in learning the art of Massage and being able to apply these techniques to family members? If so, our introductory course will be just what you need to help you to help your loved ones to dispel the strains and stresses of daily life. The benefits of this treatment include stress reduction and muscle relaxation and will help to develop better sleep patterns.

Entry requirements

In all therapies it is advisable to wear loose comfortable clothing and comfortable footwear to gain maximum benefit. Please bring 3 large towels, 1 hand towel and a pillow or cushion with you for your use during the practical sessions. It is also useful to bring water to drink after treatment. We recommend that you bring a pen, pencil and a notebook to enable you to make your own notes throughout the day. You should also bring a packed lunch and if you wish small change for tea/coffee. Certain health conditions are contraindicated for massage and holistic therapies; if you have a medical problem and are unsure about your suitability for this course please contact the college prior to enrolling.
