For centuries - as far back as Leonardo and Michelangelo - life drawing has been the traditional method for training artists. If you want to sharpen up your drawing and observation skills by drawing directly from a life model either as an experienced artist who wants to maintain your drawing skill or a beginner who wants to improve, this course should suit you. You will improve your understanding of proportion, measurement, shape, tone and your mark-making ability. You will experiment with different materials and you will be able to assemble a portfolio of work. All of this is available to you in our convivial group of artists under the watchful eye of our experienced tutor. We can't guarantee to turn you into a Michelangelo but we can at least point you in the right direction.
