You will be informed about the tasks you need to be assessed when you are inducted on the course Progression onto the level 3 will enable you to be trained in the following skill Health safety and welfare in construction Principles of organising planning and pricing construction work Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery Manufacture shaped doors and frames Manufacture stairs with turns As part of the apprenticeship you will be required to complete Maths English and in some cases ICT. If you have already done these make sure you inform us at enrolment and induction. These skills will then need to be demonstrated in a commercial environment and assessed by one of our staff. The practical work is completed after training in core and specific skills to the area you are working in. The NVQ aspects of the course are completed via on site assessment in the workplace. This is completed via observed work evidence from witnesses and discussions in relation to knowledge of the construction environment.
