This course is for anyone wishing to understand what counselling is about. It will introduce you to some counselling theories, enable you to practise and develop listening skills and give you an understanding of the different training routes into counselling work. You will build a portfolio of evidence. Enrolment onto the Introduction course is mandatory.

Name: Certificate in Counselling Level 2 Qualification title: - Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment Alongside classroom participation and observation, home study activities will be set weekly and learners will need to allocate approximately 3 hours to complete these tasks. Assignments are likely to include a variety of activities such as completion of worksheets, observation sheets, case studies, reading, journal keeping, written question and answer sheets.
