This course is for students who wish to gain an introductory understanding of the study of sport. Students will also take part in an extensive enrichment programme run in conjunction with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation. Selected students will represent Waltham Forest College at intercollege football competitions. What will I Study: This course will provide a comprehensive and challenging programme of study related to sport. You will study a range of areas within the area of sport studies including but not limited to: anatomy and physiology, fitness testing, training methods, sport psychology and leading sports activities.. English and Maths. There will also be an opportunity for suitable students to achieve a level 1 national governing body certificate such as FA level What can I do after the course: This course offers possible progression onto a level 3 programme of study and will educate you on the possible employment routes available within the sports and leisure sector.
