Is this the right course for me? You should have good working knowledge of Excel, including data entry and formatting. What will I learn? You will learn how a macro can simplify your tasks in Excel, how to record a macro in Excel, how to run a macro, how to edit a macro, how to embed the macro into your worksheets and forms and how to apply the same function to Word documents. How will I learn? You will learn through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice. You will also receive handouts to take away and study at home in your own time. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? You can learn more about more advanced functions of Excel e.g. Pivot Tables. We offer a variety of computer and business courses in our brochure and ITQ Level 2 in our Flexible Learning sessions. What do I need to bring to the classes? Notepad and pen. If you would like files to take away please bring a memory stick. Can I talk to someone about my course before I start it?
