A one day course in drawing the human form. The course will introduce the drawing concepts of scale, proportion and modelling of form. You will be able to try a range of drawing media, e.g. pencil, charcoal, ink, and consider the formal elements of line and tone in your work. The model will be posed nude., , By the end of this course you should be able to:, , Make studies of the human body using basic drawing techniques., Produce life studies that demonstrate a basic awareness of scale and proportion., Experiment with different drawing materials to extend your range of options., Work to health and safety guidelines., , Beginners and those with some experience of drawing from the life model. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
