The course content includes - Understanding children's development - Keeping children safe - Communication with children and adults - Preparing and maintaining environments for child care - Professional development - Roles and responsibilities in child care Applicants aged 19+ should look at the Diploma in Childhood Studies - Level 3 or the Entry to Teaching Assistants - Level 2 course.
