Glass Fusing - Jewellery

This hands-on 2-day course will introduce you to materials and techniques used for Glass Fusing and Jewellery making. You will explore basic glass cutting, patterns and specialist glass such as: Dichroic glass, stringers, Frit, Millefiori and marble effects. You will also be introduced to attaching jewellery findings to create pendants and earrings., , , • Produce effective Jewellery designs., • Demonstrate an understanding of Glass pattern and design., • Demonstrate an understanding of the practice and methods used in Glass fusing and design., • Demonstrate technical skills in glass cutting and arrangement., • Be able to create unique jewellery pieces, such as Pendants and Earrings., • Use materials and equipment safely and effectively., Beginners and those with experience would both benefit from this course.

Entry requirements

Materials will be provided. Novices please do not purchase specialist tools before the start of the course. Glass cutters will be provided. , Health and Safety:, You must wear closed toe shoes, All masks, gloves and ear defenders will be supplied if necessary, No drinks are allowed in the studio because of the possible risks of contamination.
