This Conversation course aims to give you the opportunity to consolidate your knowledge of the language and culture through enjoyable and interesting interaction. A range of different topics will be introduced from everyday life and daily news using articles from TV, radio, Internet and newspapers covering topics such as: education, environment, transport, science, sport, art, etc. , , Suggestions and ideas will be discussed at the beginning of the course. .You will develop language accuracy and fluency in a range of everyday situations at a more complex level and increase your confidence in applying the present, past and future tenses. , , By the end of the course you should be able to: - communicate on a wide range of topics and be able to extract detailed information from various sources (newspaper and magazine articles, telephone messages/conversations audio/visual resources) - deal with topics of a familiar/unfamiliar nature with the help of a dictionary. You will revise and expand previously studied grammar including present and past tenses (perfect/imperfect/pluperfect), future tense, conditional/subjunctive mood in set phrases, relative clauses and pronouns. , , You will gain an insight into the culture of the country where the language is spoken. This course is suitable for those who have done French to a higher Intermediate level and have the knowledge of the tenses and basic structure of the language and need fluency and conversation practice.
