Human Resources Introduction

This is a useful session that will help you get started in your HR career. You will find out about the different job opportunities available and the skills that employers expect you to have. The tutor will be able to give an insight into what working in HR is really like the different specialist areas including employee relations, recruitment and learning and development. There are a range of levels of professional HR qualifications available from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and there is an opportunity to find out which one would is suitable for you. It is an interactive session and you will get a chance to put your questions to an HR professional.
