This 10 week course in Deal will offer an overview of the Baroque period., Students will examine the art historical context as well as the main artistic themes of the fabulously theatrical Baroque period and its artists, through painting, sculpture and architecture. To feature: Caravaggio, Bernini, Borromini and Rembrandt among others., , This course is delivered in partnership with Francesca Howard from River Garage Studio. She is an artist specialising in abstracts and is the owner of River Garage Studio. She has a BA Hons degree in History of Art from the University of East Anglia, specialising in Early Italian Renaissance and Dutch 17th Century. She later gained a PGCE to teach Art History. Francesca also writes a blog on colour and its emotional impact.
