This is a short course to introduce learners to a new language. By the end of the course students should be able to:, , * Understand and use basic greetings, , * Give and request simple personal details, , * Say where they live and describe the location, , * Order and pay for food and drinks in a café or shop, , * Use some numbers and currency, , , Students will also gain an insight into the culture where the language is spoken., , For anybody who has attended one of our Beginners First Steps courses or has a basic knowledge of the language (approximately 15-20 hours of study) and is looking to improve the practical speaking and listening skills needed to cope with day to day scenarios when travelling and socialising in a French speaking country.
