Do you want to be able to use your German in a range of real life situations? Then this German Intermediate course is for you. This 25 week French course in Tunbridge Wells follows on from our German Beginners Plus course and is for anyone who wants to develop their skills further., , Successful students will be able to: , • Describe people, places, situations, events etc , • Exchange/extract key information on a variety of topics/situations, • Give and follow specific instructions , • Make simple arrangements, • Express an opinion , • Listen and respond to information from a range of sources (telephone messages, news headlines/public announcements, instructions, conversations), • Grasp general meaning of written material (e-mails, mobile text messages, letters, notices, leaflets etc) , • Deal with emergencies, problems and complaints, Grammar will be expanded. You will learn to use expressions and forms appropriate to the language using present, future and some past tenses. You will be given small amounts of homework (1 hour max) each week to reinforce classroom learning., , , For those who have completed a German Intermediate course or who have studied the language approx for 60 hours in the past, or who can 'get by' when abroad, eg. greetings, asking for and giving personal information (including hobbies), asking the way, ordering food and drink, travel and tourism. Students should have a good grasp of basic grammar such as nouns, gender, numbers, adjectives, common verbs in the present, questions and negatives.Students may be able to join the course after it has started if they have appropriate knowledge. The Programme Manager will be able to advise.
