You will study subjects within a range of computing environments and will have the opportunity to explore a range of platforms and use your creativity to design and develop your own ideas. The focus of the course is to provide you with the skills to set you on a path to working in the computer games industry as well as sufficient knowledge to support work in other digital media industries. The units studied will reflect a growing interest in games design and animation ? digital, computer generated images or traditional stop-motion. You will study Computer games design, Flash for computer games, 3D modelling, Computer game platforms and technologies, Digital graphics and3D environments/animation. The course is awarded by the prestigious UAL (University of the Arts London) and is exclusive to the Academy and BMET in the Midlands.
