This course is aimed at those who work or want to work as administrators or secretaries within the legal sector. You will study legal word processing and digital audio where you will learn how to lay out legal documents and learn legal terminology. You will also learn about legal organisations, the legal profession and the role of the legal secretary. Topics covered include how to operate office equipment, working with others, managing your workload, diary management and organising travel and events. You will learn how to touch type and gain a high level of word processing skills which are essential for the legal profession. You will also take part in a mock trial.
