This up-to-date course offers a range of learning activities to inspire students. Professionally qualified and practising lecturers foster a supportive and creative approach to independent learning. Students will attend a three-day residential trip for team building and to meet a variety of criteria on a number of units. Students will have the opportunity to use a variety of specialist equipment, e.g. an ageing suit, wheelchairs, blindfolds and ear plugs, etc, in order to broaden their awareness and understanding of other peoples needs. The course requires 300 hours of work experience in a variety of placements. This element provides an outstanding opportunity that is recognised and valued by universities and employers.
