Networking CISCO CCNA Semester 1 and 2

Semester 1 Teaches networking based on application covering the types of practical networks students may encounter from simple home or small office networks to more complex enterprise models. Students learn the technical skills and soft skills needed to succeed in entry level networking professions such as a network installer help desk technician pre sales support technician or network technician. CCNA Discovery also provides an introduction to advanced technologies such as voice wireless and security. Semester 2 Working at a Small to Medium Business or ISP v4.1 This course prepares students for jobs as network technicians and helps them develop additional skills required for computer technicians and help desk technicians. It provides a basic overview of routing and remote access addressing and security. It also familiarizes students with servers that provide email services web space and authenticated access. Students learn about the soft skills required for help desk and customer service positions and the final chapter helps them prepare for the CCENT certification exam. Network monitoring and basic troubleshooting skills are taught in context.
