Sports Coaching 6. Sports Development 7. Fitness Testing for Sports Exercise 8. Practical Team Sports 9. Sports Nutrition 10. Leadership in Sport 11. Exercise, Health and Lifestyle 12. Psychology for Sports Performance 13. Rules, Regulations and Officiating in Sport 14. Organising Sports Events 15. PE and the Care of Children and Young People 16. Sport as a Business 17. Work Experience in Sport 18. Outdoor and Adventurous Expeditions This is an academic two your course that will provide students with working knowledge of a variety of sporting disciplines and inform them of the employment opportunities available. This course is of particular interest to students wishing to pursue a career in coaching, teaching, sports development, first services, police or personal training. Students could also achieve additional qualifications in First Aid, coaching awards, community leadership, as well as opportunities to enhance their own CV with volunteer programmes. The Extended Diploma is also excellent preparation for those who wish to pursue higher education in a wide range of disciplines.
