This Summer we're stepping back into the distant world of British prehistory to explore the Iron Age. How were hillforts used? What was village life like 2,700 years ago? How frequent was conflict, and how can we see this in the archaeological record? Through a mixture of tutor-led talks, practical activities and group discussion, we'll unravel the mysteries of our ancient past to learn what life was really like for Ancient Britons - from the beginning of the age of Iron in 700BC until the arrival of the Romans in 43AD.
