Course Content:This course builds on knowledge gained at level 2 or is suitable for those with relevant work experience, wishing to progress onto a more complex level. You can specialise in either patisserie or kitchen and larder skills.Length:35 weeks.Suitability:This course is for students who are already in relevant employment in the catering industry and who want to improve their skills.Entry Requirements:You will require the NVQ level 2 or have relevant practical experience within your particular field.Assessment:Assessment will be based on your competent performance of tasks undertaken in the realistic working conditions of the College Kitchens and Bakery and on external work experience. You will also need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding related to those tasks.Additional Expenses:You will need to purchase appropriate clothing, details of which will be provided before the start of your course.All students are subject to a GBP 20 registration fee per academ
