The Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in retail has two strands which focus on either sales professional or management roles. The sales professional is aimed at experienced sales assistants who coach sales assistants and are involved in merchandising the sales area. The management pathway is suitable for those managing a team in a medium to large store or smaller areas in a medium to large organisation. Both are specifically designed to develop skills required by the retail industry and include both competence and knowledge components,functional maths and English at L2,employee rights and responsibilities and personal learning and thinking skills.
