This course is the first of three qualifications or levels that you can complete in order to gain the nationally recognised qualification in Brickwork awarded by the Construction Skills awarding body. At the end of the course a City & Guilds online exam is sat and upon successful achievement a certificate will be awarded. The Diploma is a modular course and the content includes Health & Safety, Cavity Walling, Block work, Quantities and much more. Each element comprises of both practical work and theoretical knowledge. There will be continuous practical assessments and exams to help you gain your qualifications throughout the academic year. The course requires a minimum of 15 hours per week study, plus any additional support workshop sessions identified. You will need to attend all of the timetabled classes and tutorial / support sessions. If your attendance falls below 85% you may not be able to complete your studies.
