BSc(Hons) Sports Therapy

The overall course aim is to provide you with skills and knowledge required in order to develop a career in sports therapy. You will develop the critical skills necessary to evaluate the use of sports therapy interventions and their impact upon athletes. The course provides a mixture of theory and practice and includes sports massage patient assessment and treatment skills manual therapy techniques and exercise physiology and rehabilitation and programming skills. You will also complete an individual project on a topic agreed with your tutor and present a final dissertation. Students will also have the opportunity to complete additional awards which may include L3 VTCT Sports Injuries L4 VTCT Sports Massage and L2 Personal Training.
