Level 3 Site Carpentry will reinforce and build upon your existing knowledge. You will complete the following six units: - Carry out safe working practices - Information, quantities and communication with others - Building methods and construction technology - Erect complex structural carcassing components - Maintain non-structural and structural components - Fixed and transportable machinerThis is essentially a practical programme, although there are written assignments linked to the practical work and online unit exams.This programme is for those who have a genuine interest in carpentry or joinery and wish to gain employment in the industry. This advanced programme builds upon the knowledge gained on Level 1 and Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery, with additional machining units. Successful completion of this programme can allow progression to a Higher Education course at university, or to study for the Advanced Construction Award. Alternatively, there is the opportunity for entry into employment at technical or supervisory level; or an Apprenticeship.
