Our General English course is very flexible and suitable for students of all abilities, from Beginner to Advanced level. We offer various start and finish dates from September to June. You can study for a full academic year or just a few weeks. You will follow a 12 or 15-hour core weekly General English programme with a choice of exciting Special Study Modules (6 hours). Special Study choices on offer may include: Cambridge Exam Preparation (egKET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), Preparation for IELTS, skills development classes, Business English or British Studies. All classes are mixed nationality groups taught by experienced and well-qualified teachers. We encourage you to work towards recognised English language examinations. Bradford College is a centre for the Cambridge Main Suite examinations, which include KET, PET, FCE and CAE. Although Bradford College is not an IELTS examination centre, we are happy to advise and support you in your application for IELTS exam entry at a nearby centre. There is a one-week half-term holiday in each term. You can start on any Monday throughout the year, but we encourage you to start at the beginning of a new term. We also advise you to come for as long as possible (ideally three terms) but you can come for one or two terms or even just a few weeks (two weeks minimum). The maximum group size is 18, although class sizes are usually smaller. You will meet your personal tutor regularly throughout your course to help you to plan your studies, depending on your level and your plans for the future.
