Diploma In Hairdressing Level 2 -To become a hairdresser, you will need to have good practical skills, creativity, customer service and people skills, an understanding and tactful approach when working with members of the public, a willingness to learn new techniques and methods and an awareness of health and safety issues. This course consists of various different units including Shampooing, basic cutting, styling and colouring techniques, knowledge of the hairdressing industry, customer service, reception duties, commercial salons, essential skills and health and safety.
