The advanced skills taught as part of this course will be your route in to an exciting career, whether it be providing treatments for passengers on a cruise ship or working in beauty therapy salons and spas up and down the country. By choosing this option you will acquire a broad range of higher-level skills and knowledge, which you can then apply in the College's salon. The course will give you a thorough grounding in a wide range of areas, such as planning promotional activities and events, facial and body electrical treatments, body massage, hot stone and Indian head massage. As part of your course you will work in the College's commercial salon, providing treatments for female and male clients. Duration: 1 year
