EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is suitable for people working or wanting to work in lower risk work environments, such as offices and shops. Successfully completing this award will enable the candidate to act as a first aider in the workplace. The course requirement is to have a good understanding of the English language, to at least level 1 Pen, notepad and photographic ID. Comfortable loose clothing and flat shoes. You should also be fit enough to give first aid to a casualty on the floor. You can undertake an advanced course which will provide you with the skills to administer oxygen, and the use of the defibrillator. Towards the end of the three year certification period, first aiders need to undertake another Emergency First Aid at Work course, to obtain a further three years qualification.
