NEW CLAIT (ITQ AWARD LEVEL 1)

New CLAIT Award is part of the revised CLAiT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology) suite of IT qualifications. New CLAiT is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users in employment, education or training. You will develop an understanding of some of the popular Microsoft Office applications and improve your keyboard, word processing and presentations skills. You will learn to create professional documents including text, tables and pictures and develop an understanding of text manipulation and basic formatting. You will also learn to create storage locations for user data files by creating files and folders. You will study in a comfortable environment with tutor led sessions in a regular weekly class. You will be required to attend one 3 hour session per week in college for 20 weeks with the opportunity of additional sessions to practice your skills if required.
