The ballad of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes

These troubled poets' tempestuous marriage produced some of the 20th century's greatest poetry. From romantic bliss to bitter recriminations, which were hardly abated by Plath's 1963 suicide, after which the pair's arguments were continued by others.
