Further Mathematics is designed for students with a particular aptitude for Mathematics and offers students the opportunity to further develop their algebraic techniques through the study of Matrices, Vectors and Complex Numbers. Students also study additional modules in other areas of Mathematics such as Differential Equations, Decision Mathematics and more Complex Mechanics. It is excellent preparation for degree courses with a high Mathematical content, such as Engineering, Physics, Accountancy and Economics, as well as Mathematics itself and is widely valued by Universities.
