This course is aimed at a wide range of students interested in careers such as accountancy, sales and marketing, personnel, retailing, as well as general business opportunities. The BTEC Level 3 90 Credit Diploma is a practical, work-related course where you will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The course is designed to appeal to both full-time learners interested in a career in business and to those who already have experience of working in the sector. The four core units give learners an introduction to and understanding of the business environment, management of resources, marketing and communication â€" all fundamental to the success of business organisations. Business employers value employees who are able to communicate effectively both verbally and using electronic communication methods. This course provides opportunities for learners to develop these as they progress through the course via presentations and discussions where they can express their opinions. Learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and achievement, taking into account industry standards for behaviour and performance.
