Who is the course for: This course is for those who wish to follow a broad based video production course that allows them to go on to university or work in the media industry. Course Content: Studio based producation Understanding the media Film studies Experimental video Interview Techniques Production management Television and video studies Video editing Writing for television Drama Advertising All students will study Functional Skills as part of this course. Study Methods: Students will be working in industry standard studios, on location and be given access to professional edit facilities. You will be working on productions in practical, theoretical and written ways, delivering producation portfolios and showreels of practical work. How is the course assessed: Continual assessment across a braod range of project breifs through regular feedback and action planning in both practical and written assignments. Where next - Further Studies: Most successful students go onto a BA Honours course in their selected specialism, or a Foundation Degree. Where next - Job Opportunities: Students can work on a braod range of creative roles in the media industry.
