This course is for anyone aspiring to become a hair stylist. It is both practical and theoretical with an assignment to cover each unit. You will carry out a range of services on clients within our modern Tees Style Two commercial hairdressing salon. You may have the opportunity to undertake additional optional qualifications such as hair extensions (this may incur an additional cost). This course may include early starts and evening work.This is a trainee stylist qualification and you will develop skills in a realistic working environment with sector relevant work experience.The units will cover: Health and safetyConsultation supportStyling and dressing hairCutting : both male and femaleAdvanced Colouring techniquesColour correction Bridal hairAll learners to study English and Maths. All learners will be encouraged to study to GCSE grade C.Alongside these units you will also complete a Level 2 certificate in Customer Services. You will attend 4 hours of theory sessions a weekYou will attend 9 hours of practical sessions a week
