Our hands on Traineeship is specifically designed to help those who want to gain a career in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Construction. The programme contains • Work prep • Construction training (including Customer Service within construction) • Manufacturing and warehousing training • Completion of CSCS card and Level 1 Health & Safety • Maths & English (unless learners have GCSE grade C) Individuals will spend up to 4 weeks at our dedicated training centre, undertaking training in several “hands on trades”. Once deemed “work ready”, they will be matched to local companies and interviewed for Apprenticeship opportunities. Learners will also have access to dedicated Career Coaches to help sustain whilst on programme and access support where required. All learners will receive certificates at the end of the programme to enhance their CV and portfolio when applying for vacancies. We will match the young people with job opportunities and introduce them to employers at a Meet the Apprentice event once they gain Chamber Approved status. Participants will grow in confidence, self-esteem and increase employability skills. A high percentage of our learners who complete the Traineeship Programme move into employment within 3 months of completing due to our direct and unrivalled relationships with employers.
