This course will enable you to build up confidence in reading, writing, speaking and listening to Japanese in a variety of everyday situations. You will be able to recognize the alphabet/key characters of the language and produce very basic written information.This course concentrates on everyday communication by listening, reading, speaking and writing. You will work in groups, pairs or individually and use a variety of materials. You will also acquire an understanding of the structure of the language to enable you to adapt to your individual needs. Topics will include: Talking about yourself and family Asking / giving directions Getting information from a tourist office Shopping Ordering food / drinks at restaurants / cafes Booking a hotel room
