IMIA Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Light Vehicle). This qualification covers the demands of today’s vehicle accident repair industry. It provides the essential skills and knowledge for technicians working on vehicles in vehicle body shops. You will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through completion of specialist units, including Preparing Metal and Pre-Painted Surfaces, Repairing Minor Paint Defects and removing and Fitting Non-Permanently. You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the health and safety. Practical activities are completed in fully resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff. Students must pass all practical and theory elements of the programme to achieve this nationally recognised qualification.
