On this apprenticeship you will help people with specific needs in their everyday lives including disabled or elderly people or those with learning disabilities. This type of care can include anything from helping a person get dressed, transporting them to and from a residential home or taking them shopping. It prepares you to work in roles such as senior support worker and senior care assistant. To enrol, you need to have completed the intermediate apprenticeship.You complete: Health & Social Care (Adults) Level 3 Preparing to work in Adult Social Care Level 3 Employment Rights and Responsibilities Level 2 (unless this has already been achieved)Please note, for both levels you may be required to take Functional Skills in English& maths.
