This course covers every aspect of supporting teaching and learning in schools. You will study topics that reflect the importance of supporting teaching and learning and the essential support work that is carried out in schools to help children achieve their potential. There are 11 Mandatory Units for the Certificate including Units on safeguarding, health and safety, positive behaviour and assessment for learning.You will attend College one day per week and will be in placement two days a week. This could be on a voluntary or paid basis, if you are in a suitable school setting.
