Archaeology is the study of past human societies through the investigation of material remains. The course is designed for anyone interested in exploring the past through the techniques of modern archaeological investigation. No prior knowledge of archaeology is required as this full time course assumes that most students will be new to the subject.
Name: AS-A2 Archaeology Qualification title: AS-A2 Archaeology Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment At AS level each unit will have a written examination paper, each paper consists of a combination of compulsory short questions, plus a choice of essay. At A level, one of the units has a written examination paper which will consist of three essay questions (there will be a choice of questions), the other unit is the personal study which is marked as coursework.
