UPDATED 20160419 15:17:11

This course is for non-native English speakers (EU and worldwide) who want to improve their English language skills and take the IELTS exam in order to enter a UK university. The class runs for 5 hours per week over 24 weeks (September start) and for 5 hours per week over 12 weeks (April start) at our Soho Centre in the heart of London. The summer IELTS course runs for 6 weeks and applicants can apply for a minimum of 2 weeks throughout the course. The course is offered at Level 2 (Advanced) level. Some students may be accepted at Level 1 (Upper Intermediate) if they can demonstrate the ability to achieve the IELTS score they require. The IELTS course includes: > Constructive, individual feedback from your teacher on your performance and suggestions on where and how to improve. > Development of exam techniques to help you succeed in the test. > An overview of the format of the IELTS test. > Advice and guidance on where to take the IELTS test (exam fee included in the course fee). Please note: This course focuses exclusively on practice and preparation for the IELTS test. Teaching and Learning: You will learn in small groups with other students who have the same level of English. At the college, our maximum class size is 24, but the average number of students on an IELTS course is 18. Our teachers are very experienced and they use the most up-to-date materials and a variety of approaches to make sure that your classes are interesting, motivating and effective. Classes include group, pair and project work and computer-based activities. Each centre also has a fully equipped Learning Centre, which students are encouraged to use.
