English Pronunciation

UPDATED 20160414 15:11:45

Practical activities to improve pronunciation start with an introduction to the phonemic script. Within two sessions, students will be able to read phonemic symbols and use dictionaries to help with Standard English pronunciation. Students will be given exposure to natural English pronunciation including native and non-native accents. Students will be encouraged to record themselves and identify their own pronunciation problems and given an opportunity to correct them.
