This course provides the practical skills and underpinning knowledge to allow you to progress into the plumbing industry. It covers several modules including: - Health and safety - Scientific principles and processes - Common plumbing processes - Cold water systems - Domestic hot water systems - Drainage systems - Central heating systems - Electrical principles and processes - Understanding how to communicate with others Functional skills in English and Maths are a key part of the course. Workshop assessments will be carried out at College. Entry Requirements: You need GCSE grade C or above in both English and maths',' also a grade D or above in science is preferable but not essential. You will be interviewed. Career Options: You may be able to progress on to a Level 3 qualification or employment if you have taken the NVQ/Apprenticeship.
