Come along to discover more about French literature. We meet fortnightly in Tunbridge Wells to discuss a chosen book in our course French Reading for Pleasure - Atelier de lecture. Books will be classics as well as more contemporary works. The books we discuss may exist in translation and key passages will be given to enable less fluent readers to access the books quickly. This is a course for intermediate and advanced level French students who wish to improve their knowledge of French culture and vocabulary at the same time.

We expect to read a total of nine books or texts, of manageable size. Students who own an E-reader may be able to read some books electronically if they prefer. Students should bring a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts. The first text will be provided at the first session., If the group decides to study books that are not yet in the Public Domain, students will have to arrange to pay the charge to access these books.
