Tuition will be by individual and group work, demonstration and one to one. Every student will be encouraged to expand their knowledge and skills whatever their level. The laces taught are:- Torchon, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire point, Honiton, Bruges, Withof Idrija lace and Milanese., , By the end of the course you should be able to:, Apply techniques and skills relevant to the subject in a competent manner at an appropriate level;, Research the work of others and use it to inspire own work;, Demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety relevant to the subject., This course is suitable for beginners as well as trhe more experienced lacemaker. Students new to lace should ask for the tutor to contact them prior to the start of the course.
