Special education needs - Identification, intervention and IEPs. This course will explore the need to recognise the importance of early identification and intervention to promote best outcomes for all children and especially those with additional needs. Understanding will be developed in how to identifiy appropraite long, medium and short targets for those with additional needs that provide high expectations and achievement through the SMART plans. This is a series of linked sessions that will take place throughout the year which can be accessed individual or as a whole course.
