The course will teach functional communication in British Sign Language (BSL) through tasks which resemble some the real life experiences of people who meet and mix with deaf people in their family, social or working lives. Students are also expected to do private study. This will include watching video material at home or in a library, watching television programmes for deaf people and about deaf issues, reading articles, magazines and books and making more contact with deaf people outside the classroom, more information regarding this course is available on our website - http://www.hull-college.ac.uk
