Westminster Kingsway College provides Apprenticeships that offer a structured training programme for those in employment who want to learn while they are working. The College also works with employers to recruit Apprentices seeking an Apprenticeship placement. The College Apprenticeship programmes give you the opportunity to build on existing skills and develop technical and vocational skills in the workplace. The programmes are designed to equip you with the skills essential for the success of any business. This is a high quality option for a school-leaver to go to work, learn new skills and gain a recognised qualification and to earn a wage. The value of an Apprenticeship is that it has been put together to develop you both in your chosen field and as an individual. This is reflected in the fact that as well as developing your technical skills you will also learn about: - Team working - Health and Safety - Equal Opportunities - Communication skills - Workplace skills - Enterprise skills - Quality Assurance Anyone who wishes to do an apprenticeship needs to be employed in the job role relating to their Apprenticeship. Once in the job, we can deliver training towards your Apprenticeship. The College works with a number of employers, providing customised Apprenticeship programmes that have been developed for organisations to meet their specific training and development needs.
