Cookery - Come Cook with Me

The aim of this course is to develop basic skills and techniques used in the kitchen whilst preparing a range of dishes.This course will draw inspiration from a range of recipes from home and afar for starters, main courses and desserts. We will prepare a range of dishes, both savoury and sweet. Learners will be able to identify the skills needed for different recipes and have confidence in preparing dishes using the skills they have learnt. Learners will also be encouraged to identify recipes they wish to cook.

Entry requirements

Recipes/ingredients list will be sent 1 week prior to the start of the first class.Please bring an apron, tea-towels and all ingredients as listed in the recipes sent to you, also some suitable containers to take food home in.It is important to wear clothes and footwear suitable for a busy, hot kitchen.
